The DP Maxx was born:

Working in an enclosed garage in Park City, Utah, I had been using a circular saw.  After a few hours of work, I had a big mess to clean up.  I had taken my wife to keep me company and as a helper to make my job go faster.  After cleaning up the tools we realized that there was a lot of saw dust to pick up before we could leave.  My wife asked how we were going to pick up the big mess we had made with our little dust pan?  I told her I would go and get some cardboard to use with my push broom.  My wife looked down to her left and saw a welcome mat.  She slid it over and with the pushbroom was able to quickly and single handedly pick up the sawdust.  Without much effort the mess was cleaned up and we were on our way!  As she had cleaned up the sawdust, she began to think how fast and convient the welcome mat had made her job and asked, "Why is there nothing out there for a pushbroom to make life and cleanup easier?"  Thus the DP Maxx was born!
